The service

Bakemap is a directory. Listings, menus, prices, opening times and allergen notes are entered by the businesses themselves. We moderate listings before they appear but we don't verify every detail. Always confirm anything critical (especially allergens) directly with the business.

Accounts and listings

• You must own or be authorised to represent a business you list.
• Listings must be accurate and lawful. We may suspend listings that aren't, and remove reviews that are abusive, fake or off-topic.
• You can delete your listing and account at any time.

Reviews

Reviews appear only where a business has enabled them. By posting a review you confirm it reflects a genuine visit. Businesses may reply. Anyone can report a review for moderation.

Cost

Listing a business on Bakemap is free. If we ever offer paid extras, they'll be optional and you'll only pay if you choose to at a checkout.

Founding Member purchases (no longer offered)

Before Bakemap became free, the Founding Member offer was a one-off payment granting your business lifetime access to all paid features. Purchases made then are honoured. It was a digital service delivered immediately: at checkout you confirmed you wanted access straight away and understood you lost your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Statutory rights concerning faulty services are unaffected.

Liability

Bakemap is provided as-is. We're not liable for the accuracy of listing content or for anything that happens between you and a listed business.
